Today’s Christmas idea comes from my niece Ally. Ally is married living in Philadelphia. Her hubby is currently in Med School. Together they have a darling one year old boy. Here is what she has to say…..
“Our little family of three is just starting our own holiday traditions. Last year, I started Christmas break a bit earlier than my husband. I trail blazed the way to California while Husband stayed home to finish his semester of school. Knowing I would be fully immersed in the holiday festivities made me want to share the joy with him. So I created a “Countdown to Christmas Break” for him; an advent for those 2 weeks home alone. There is a mitten for everyday, a message in every mitten, and correlating gifts for him to enjoy while I’m gone. Some gift ideas include candy, favorite cookie dough, new shoes, prints of his favorite pictures of us, and bacon. It’s true about the gift of giving. I get as excited as him, if not more, for him to discover each gift. I am glad we have a way to make it a holly jolly, most wonderful time for all.”

Ally, that is the cutest ever! What a sweet wife you are!
I love that idea, Ally. What a sweet, thoughtful wife you are. I’m sure Alex knows that very well.
