There are many photography books out there. Most I just pick up just to look up something technical. Once I find the answer, I put the book back on the shelf. There are others that inspire. Books with images that evoke emotion. That make me remember why I am a photographer and makes me want to grab my camera and chase down my kids for a fun photo shoot.
This e-book, FOR THE LOVE by Jinky Art is one of those books that draws you in. That brings tears to your eyes just looking at children of complete strangers. Imagine what kind of emotion you would feel if you had images of your own children like these.
This book, is inspirational. She gives challenges to the reader and gives examples of ways we could and should capture our own children. The wonderful thing about this book is it is for everyone. From the Mom or Dad who wants to get candid shots, who may be looking for what kind of camera to get, to the most advanced photographer. It can inspire all. There is even guides to help you with figuring out shooting on Manual for those wanting to learn.
So yes, I give this book two thumbs up. It is a digital book, which is lovely. Instant download upon purchase. No, I don’t have any affiliation with the writer. I just get so many emails and questions from Mom’s wanting to learn how to use their camera’s and asking where can they learn. I think this is a good start, both for learning and for inspiring.
