One night the Baker Family stopped by our house. Denise and Megan had just returned from their wonderful trip to Paris and London. They had brought back a few surprises for us to get our kids excited about our big adventure. Oh what a treat. I just love nice people!
Yesterday, we broke them open and had some fun.
They gave us the cutest little matching game called Pairs of the Palace.
This was a huge hit with Piper.
They also gave us a link chain kit. In it were strips to put together to form a countdown chain! Each day we will cut a link off until finally, it will be time to leave on our adventure. This kit had darling London print and colors on the paper. But what a fabulous idea. You could easily make one out of any paper to countdown for any trip. The kids had so much fun putting it together. 
And now it hangs from our mantle as an exciting reminder that we have a big adventure ahead of us! Thank you Baker Family!
