Chalkboard Paint

I had been seeing lots of images of walls painted in chalkboard paint.

So last Summer, I painted one wall of my studio with black Chalkboard paint.  I even did it all by myself!

I loved how it turned out. And even more then me, my children love love love it.

They often sneak up there to draw beautiful masterpieces from floor to ceiling.  Did you know you can buy tinted chalkboard paint.  You pick the color.  You could have blue or pink or whatever you dream up.

How cute would it be to paint the back of a bedroom door?  Or a cupboard door in your kitchen?

But beware!  Where there is chalk there is chalk dust, all over your floor!  So you might not want it in high traffic areas of your home.
